"I had a difficult conversation with Linda on August 19, 2025. I called in because on a previous call three months ago, I was told by Linda that to have Rideshare insurance, I was required to have Drive Safe and Save enabled in my vehicle. After researching and speaking with several Ridshare attorneys about this program, it was unclear to me if it was truly needed. I asked Linda to provide in writing where it stated in my policy that Drive Safe and Save was needed in order to get Rideshare insurance. She stated she didn't have to provide that information and that there was no written document that she could give me that stated it was a requirement. The conversation became unprofessional when I again asked for the information, and Linda proceeded to take the call personally and chose to use childish name-calling when I asked to speak with her supervisor. When I stated that I was the customer and had a right to the information I was requesting, she stated that it didn't matter that I was a customer. I find that funny, as their homepage says this right on it: "Our customers are the center of our universe and we’re grateful for them." Needless to say, she hung up on me not once but five different times in my attempts to speak with her supervisor or get the customer service number so a complaint could be filed. Long story short, I was able to get in contact with the Escalations department, and they have filed a complaint against Linda. I await her supervisor's call to see how this unprofessional matter will be taken care of. The one star is well deserved for the experience I had to go through with Linda at this State Farm location. State Farm doesn't have a good track record with me, and there is a reason I wanted that information in writing. I have also been informed by Escalations that Drive Safe and Save is not a requirement for Rideshare insurance, and I await final confirmation from the Underwriting team of State Farm to confirm this. If you receive unprofessional service from this State Farm location, escalate the call through customer service. No Customer should have to go through what I went through to get the answers I needed."
